Intensive Outpatient Program
For those who need a less-structured setting for treatment, Refuge Recovery Centers provide individualized outpatient services. Our clients attend group sessions three hours a day, up to five days a week to address addiction, trauma and co-occurring disorders.
Outpatient clients begin their treatment experience with an individual assessment to determine necessity for treatment conducted by our staff in the admissions department. Once treatment begins, the patient is assigned a case manager and therapist. The case manager will complete a psycho-social assessment. This allows the clinical team to formulate an individualized treatment plan, and develop strategies with the client. Honest and empathic communication is the key to success for the individuals that we serve.
Psychiatric and Medical Assessment
Upon admission the client will meet with our psychiatrist for the initial psychiatric evaluation. After the initial evaluation, patients are seen by their psychiatrist approximately one time per week for medication evaluation and management.
